Hi friends,
We have had a great couple months of ministry in Myanmar! In early February we spent two weeks in Shan State, Myanmar. We visited three more of our In Better Hands orphanage homes and conducted ministry teachings with both the children and house parents.
In one of the cities we visited, we were excited to make contact with a Bible training center. This Bible school is totally independent and they are now seeking to join the Myanmar FMC. This training center focuses efforts on training Christian leaders to go into villages and Church plant/make disciples. My brother-in-law Pa Kep is the Myanmar FM superintendent and he was able to meet the students and instructors at the bible training center. Pa Kep is very encouraged with the possible partnership with this school! A Community Church Planting (CCP) seminar is currently being planned for the end of this month with FM representatives and this Bible training center.
After returning back to Yangon from our Shan State trip, I was privileged once again to have the opportunity to baptize eleven more young adults. Praise be to God!
We will be leaving Myanmar tonight and returning to Michigan for the remainder of our partnership building time.
Thank you for your prayers!
Blessings,
Seth & Hlawn Hlawn
