Study Abroad students from Greenville College:
In September we received our first Study Abroad students from one of our Free Methodist colleges. We are excited to have Brittany, Brooke, Leanna and Michelle with us. They are learning Spanish and Spanish history, and how Spain has influenced the world history. They are also working with the local church in Rivas (Madrid) and will be visiting our churches in the Canary Islands, on a missions/research project. Please pray for them as they continue to adapt and learn how God is leading their academic and spiritual futures.

New Local Minister and church Planter.
On September 21st we received our newest Local Ministerial Candidate and church planter. Kevin Cortes (wife Julie) will be leading our newest Community Church Plant in the capital (Arrecife) of Lanzarote, Canary Islands. This is our first official launch using the CCP model. Kevin and Julie are leading a house church with plans to start a new house church in the coming months. Please pray for the Kevin and Julie as they lead this new ministry.

Mission Weekend in Keystone Conference:
Josh was invited to share at a missions conference organized by a district in the Keystone Conference. Churches participating were. New Creation, Maitland Lane and Ellwood City.

Presenters: Lori Glossenger and David Brewer.
Lori (pictured above) and David also presented workshops on Saturday. Lori spoke about answering the call of missions and serving in your community. While David spoke about SEED ministry and opportunities to partner with Livelihood projects around the world.

Participating churches are planning to assemble a VISA team next year to Madrid to help us share the gospel in Rivas and Madrid. We are calling this initiative "Impacto Madrid".

Baptisms...
On October 4th we celebrated the baptisms of two new believers. Grandfather(Victor) and granddaughter (Teresa). It was a wonderful service and reminder of God's grace and mercy. We have seen their faith grow in recents months. The family lives about 40kms (25mi) from the church. They have shown commitment to the Lord and church in several ways. Please pray so their faith will continue to strengthen. Several family members are not working and need your prayers as well.
We had a special picnic outing and celebrated communion with the church family. It was a special day in many ways. We are grateful for the Lord's provisions and bringing us closer together. Many families are struggling financially, but their faith remain strong and the church is impacting the community in several ways.

Prayer Conference & Journey
The Free Methodist Church of Spain would like to invite you on a prayer conference and journey for the nation and its people. If you studied Spanish history you learned how Spain has influenced continents and has contributed to the economic and spiritual development of many countries in both hemispheres. Today, it’s a different story... Christian history informs us that Spain never experienced a spiritual reformation. This is why we are inviting you to join us in praying for God’s power to be revealed on this nation!
We are excited about parenting with Women's Ministry International for this historic event. The first three days will be a special conference for women. The remaining seven days we will visit and pray in several cities in southern Spain. Men are also invited for the prayer journey. Click here for registration and download the brochure for more details and itinerary.
Register by November 10th for the early bird price!
