We continually appreciate the impact you've had on our lives as you've partnered in ministry with us. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
On the home front, we continue to appreciate your prayers for Juliana and Jonathan's health. Juliana continues to be dizzy. She's been through a battery of tests on her blood, her head, and her heart. So far, everything is coming back normal. Pray for a definitive diagnosis but we are beginning to suspect that the whole problem is related to low blood pressure.
Jonathan has been having stomach pains again...and had an orthodontic procedure this week that has resulted in a lot of pain. With a little adjustment and new pain medication, we hope that he'll be able to adjust to the new apparatus in his mouth. We're also praying that his condition isn't rearing its ugly head again in his stomach and esophagus.
Ricardo, our local pastor, John Jairo Leal and the Colombia Mission District Leader, Libni Gasca, will be traveling September 17 through 29 to attend the
New Room Conference in Tennessee in order to reinforce the Wesleyan heritage in Colombia. They will also be visiting churches in Oregon, Tennessee, Michigan, Kentucky and Florida to raise support for the Colombia Country Share account. If you will be in one of those states and would like their schedule, please let us know! Your prayers for their travels and successful meetings will be appreciated!
Also, as you pray for us, pray for the country of Colombia as they prepare for a vote on October 2 about whether or not to accept the peace pact that was established between the government and the guerilla group (FARC) that have been the center of Colombia's 60+ year civil war. This is a vote that will make a significant impact on many generations of Colombians!
Thanks again for your encouragement and partnership in ministry with us!
Many blessings,
Ricardo, Beth, Juliana and Jonathan
